This antenna comes manufactured with a Fakra C-Blue Female connector as standard and is a preferred solution for any device requiring reliable performance in a small form factor. The connector Code C for 2JW1001-FKC is designed to be rotatable within 45° to 90° tilt position range. The hinge mechanism allows the antenna to be rotated into the desired orientation which helps to avoid other antennas or objects. This mechanism also helps improve isolation when used in MIMO systems or when other antennas are also present on the same device. Fakra connectors have an additional plastic housing that contains a mechanical locking device preventing disconnection in high vibration applications making them a leading choice for automotive applications.
